Safe House
by Mary Kennedy
Safe house, quiet house,
front door & back door
One way in, ten ways out
Safe house
Nothing appears as it seems
lack curtains and geranium
bird sitting in a cage.
Mirror at an angle to view the road
everything seen and witnessed
nobody sees anything.
